Here are some ideas of oils that goes well with certain rooms.
Living Room
For your living room, you want something uplifting and energizing. Something fresh that will raise your energy level and make you feel happy and motivated. So for this room you may want to use citrus oils, such as lime, lemon, bergamot and orange as they have this cleansing and uplifting effect on the body. They feel fresh and smell clean, which is perfect for both living room and kitchen. You can also add a flowery scent to the mix, to give it a more round and soft smell such as lavender, jasmine or rose.
Bedroom
For the bedroom you either want to promote relaxation and sleep or romance. For sleep try combining lavender and cedarwood, which go great together and have a sedative effect on the body. If you wish to promote romance, try using some of the natural aphrodisiac oils such as jasmine, patchouli, Ylang Ylang, rose or vanilla.
Bathroom
For your bathroom you may want to go for a spa-like feel. For this lavender might be the perfect choice as it smells wonderful but also promotes relaxation and calmness. Lavender is therefor perfect for when you need to take a hot bath and just relax.
